Depending on the exact model, maker, and country of origin, the semi auto VERSION of the Ak47 is currently selling for $500-900 in the US. The original AK47 is capable of full auto fire, and value of a LEGAL, transferable AK is MUCH higher- several thousand dollars. Only those that were registered with the BATFE by May 1986 are transferable to a private citizen in the US. No additional full auto weapons can be registered.
To buy one at a gun shop new will be around $400-$500.
