The Ruger SR-22 has an MSRP of $629, but they can be found closer to the $500 range. IMO, still way too much for what it is - better just to get a 10/22 for $220 at Dick's Sporting Goods, then dress it up to look tacticool if you see fit to do so.

I think the average price for a Ruger 10/22 is around $200. They are really fun and probably the cheapest gun to shoot with the current economy. I have one and love it. They are also probably one of the most customizable firearms out there.
