The penalty for carrying a gun without a permit in Indiana varies depending on where it was carried and the circumstances of the arrest. In some cases this can be a level five felony and include 5-10 years in prison and large fines.
Depending on circumstances, everything from a fine to the death penalty
If it's done legally and in the manner directed by law, there is no penalty.

Indiana does not have gun registration. If you're carrying your firearm in the legal and prescribed manner, there is no requirement for it to be registered.
Depends on the law where you are, and whether it is legal to have a gun, and what you were doing with it. Without that information, we cannot even guess at an answer. Sort of like "what is penalty of having car?"
I know of no gun registeration in Maryland. No such thing as a unregistered gun.
Yes
You will have to go to court.
Every case is different. If you need information on a state or federal criminal case, seek information from your attorney or from an attorney at your local public defender's office.
The penalty is death Stupid first answer. I would be surprised if there was any penalty for carrying two policies, the problem would be collecting on both. I would assume in the case of an accident that the one issued first would apply. As for the penalty, it would be fraud and the penalty would be based on the amount you received. Any claim would most likely be a felony.
