∙ 2011-09-01 20:09:23In the U.S., even if the local laws in your area would allow a shop to pierce someone under the age of 18, most shops still will not touch you till you are 18 years of age out of professional ethics. You would have to call around, but I highly doubt you'll find any shop to oblige you unless you are 18, even with parental consent and compliance it's still quite uncommon for most shops, reputable ones at least, to work on minors.

its 18 everywhere
With parental consent, it's around 13 or 14, I think. Without parental consent, it's 18 (with an ID or something, to prove your 18).
18 to marry without parent consent. 16/17 can marry with parental consent.
Since you are a minor and you would not have parental consent...there is nowhere that would touch you. Even with parental consent, you would have to be at least 17 virtually anywhere who would service a minor to begin with. You would be hard pressed to find a shop that would risk their license and face a lawsuit from piercing someone who is underage and has absolutely no parental consent.
In the state of North Carolina, the legal age for any piercing other than the ear is 18, without parental consent.
Currently, you must be 16 to get a piercing without parental consent, 13 with parental consent. New York's legislature is working to change that to 18 and over in order to get a piercing without parental consent.
The age to get a piercing without parental consent is 18 in every state. With parental consent a person must be 16.

No, the legal age in any state is 18 without parental consent; no proper piercing shop will pierce you without parental consent. Please don't pierce yourself or get it done without proper sterilisation and procedure!
