It is called a bandellero.
what the previous answerer was thinking of was a bandolier, which holds ammunition. A similar strap that holds a larger gun like a rifle or shotgun is simply called a sling. What you're looking for is probably a CQD sling or a Tactical sling. If its a holster where a pistol rests on the hip but the strap goes over the shoulder, its sometimes called a baldric. If the strap goes across the chest and the pistol is under the arm its called a shoulder holster. I think that one of those should cover it.
If you have a belt run it through the handle on the back of your shield and then buckle it. Sling that over a shoulder and across your chest with the shield to the back.

the Pectoralis Profundus is found in the "chest" of quadrapeds, in their Thoracic. It is part of the Quadruped Sling, and works with the Serratus Ventralis muscle to allow forward and backwards movement for quadrupeds of the forelimbs.
The purpose of a sling is to support an injured body part, and reduce the movement of that part in order to help with the healing process.
