Basically the differences are that: the process of aquisition is very different eg c.c uses a number of trials whereas o.t.l only primarily uses one. you can use almost any stimulus in c.c but in o.t.l food is nearly the only effective stimulus. the extinction is very different as c.c can easly become extinct but o.t.l is relativley permanent stimulus generalisatino is common in c.c but hardly ever occurs in o.t.l
