As a general meaning, the term Creationist refers to a person, usually a Cristian, who believes God created the world. In most cases it refers to a Young- Earth creationist. These people believe that God created the world as described in The Bible, with all living things created as they are today. Most of these creationists belive that the world is about 6,000 years old, based on a very literal interpretation of the Bible. Some have different opinions, though, claiming the world is as much as a few hundred thousand years old.
Evolutionists belive that life changes over the course of generations, with new species emerging gradually as mutations and differing survival rates alter the gene pool. Unlike creationists, evolutionists believe the world to be between 4.5 and 4.6 billion years old based on isotope dating.
A creationist believes that a divine being (such as God) created the universe and all living things in their present form, typically in accordance with religious texts. An evolutionist, on the other hand, accepts the theory of evolution which posits that living organisms change over time through the process of natural selection and genetic variation, without the need for divine intervention.
To be an evolutionist, you simply need to accept the scientific theory of evolution, which explains how species change and develop over time through the process of natural selection and genetic variation. This involves understanding and acknowledging the evidence supporting evolution as the mechanism for the diversity of life on Earth.
A creationist is someone who believes that the universe and living organisms originated from specific acts of divine creation, as described in religious texts like the Bible. Creationism is often contrasted with scientific explanations such as evolution.
A creationist may believe that life on Earth was created by a divine being, such as God, as described in religious texts. They may also reject the theory of evolution and believe that all living things were created in their current form.
A creationist is someone who believes that the universe, Earth, and living organisms were created by a divine being or force, and not through natural processes like evolution. Creationism often aligns with religious beliefs about the origins of life.
Evolution and creationist theories can coexist if one views the creation story as a metaphorical or symbolic explanation of the origins of life, while accepting the scientific evidence supporting evolutionary theory as the mechanism through which life has developed and diversified over time. This perspective allows for a reconciliation between faith-based beliefs and scientific understanding of the natural world.
I believe the word you are looking for is a "Creationist". (As opposed to an Evolutionist.)
even when evolutionist rank higher in numbers, the creationist are well ahead explaining and proving most of their beliefes where evolutionist have many things unexplained.
6,000 thousand years in creationist and in evolutionist billons and billions and trillions of years ago.
The Creationist would say it was Adam. The Evolutionist would say bacteria - the precursors of algae.
Creationist failed to reverse state laws that furthered the expansion of the teaching of evolution. The battle between creationist and evolutionist wages in statewide debate over education curriculum, today.
The driving force for man's exploration of space is the search for life outside of the Earth. If you look at the logic, it is very unlikely that there is life outside of Earth if your a Creationist or evolutionist
An evolutionist is answering this question.
Despite popular belief he was actually a Creationist
It largely depends on your position on evolution. If you are a creationist, you are more likely to lean toward preservation of life as God made it. If you are an evolutionist, you are more likely to lean toward letting nature take its course, even when it means watching a species pass into extinction.
This is a personal opinion. You can look at it two ways: 1.) If you are a creationist, God created everything and therefore you are not valid to destroy the Creator's work. 2.) If you are an evolutionist, survival of the fittest is key, so you can technically do whatever you want to frogs. Or you can catch and raise without killing. :)
The very definition of evolutionist would require this outlook. The definition of creationist would require the belief in special divine creation. (Actually man came from apes not monkeys - if you're going to argue get your facts straight)
First of all, it is were, not was. From a creationist standpoint they were made at the beginning of the Earth's time during the Creation. From an Evolutionist standpoint, as earth cooled down, and the waters separated from the seas, gravity took it's course and puled the waters down.
