The information society refers to a society where information and communication technologies play a significant role in economic and social activities. On the other hand, an informed society pertains to a population that is well-educated, actively seeks knowledge, and critically evaluates information for decision-making and problem-solving. While the information society emphasizes technology and data access, an informed society focuses more on the knowledge and understanding obtained from that information.
