THE AXIS
The Axis's war goals were basicly fueled by a thirst for conquest on the part of the Japanese and the Italians, where the Germans wanted to gain revenge for the humiliating defeat that was handed to them in WWI and to regain lands that were lost in WWI (Alsace Lorraine, Danzig, and other small regions). The war started with Germany demanding that Poland hand over Danzig in order to connect Western Germany with the cut off Eastern Germany, Poland flat out refused and that is when WWII started. Germany wanted to take Polands lands and then humiliate France and along the way the Germans began to think they were unstoppable but they made too many enemies and the rest is history.
Japan wanted to form an Eastern Empire and was slowly tearing apart China and annexing Pacific islands but allied with Germany after WWII had already started because it became clear very quickly what everybody's stances were on the war that was starting in Germany and how countries viewed aggressors like Japan. So Japan joined up with Germany (Who was also belligerent.)
The Italians on the other hand were also like Japan, were in it for the conquests. Mussolini had promised the Italian public that he would reform the Roman Empire and wanted to take the lands that were promised to Italy at the end of WWI in the western Balkans, but ended up being given to Yugoslavia.
THE ALLIES
The Allies were much simpler in that Franc and the U.K. had a defensive treaty with Poland and when Germany declared war on Poland, both countries honored their treaty, they didn't actually do anything however until a few months later when by then Germany was on its way to forming a Western Front and successfully executing the WWI Schlieffin plan, which was to focus all troops on one front.
The Allies goals were to defeat the belligerent countries and to end the war.
Axis
Allies vs AxisAnswerthe us, brits, and russia where the allies and Germany, Italy, and the Japanese where the axis..... hence the axis and allies....
Hi Although we still refer to the US as having "allies" (most notably Britain, France, Germany and Japan, the terms Allied and Axis powers refers strictly to World War 2 when the Axis powers were Germany, Italy and Japan, and the Allies were pretty much everyone else. In VietNam, the fighting was solely between VietNamese soldiers known as the Viet Cong, and American forces. No allies, no axis. Phil
The allies didn't "arrive." They were the first and only enemy of the Axis, the alliance of all countries against Hitler and the Axis.
In World War 2 the Axis was made of Germany, Italy, and Japan. The Allies were the US, Great Britain, and the U.S.S.RNow that the war is over, the good guys are usually called the Allies and the bay one the Axis.
Victory.

Axis
The allies and axis were for the war between 1933 and 1945 because the allies had different thoughts about the WWII, not to kill the innocent people and not to have Germany blame all the countries problems on the jewish, just because they are different people.
Because the Axis don't like the Allies so they battled it out
They were on the allies.
Japan was an Axis power
The axis.
Axis
The allies wanted an unconditional surrender from the axis.
