An assistant manager is a position which assists a person in a position as a manager.

An executive manager is a person in a mangerial position who has executive authority. This in theory means that they have delegated authority from the governing body (board) although in reality it is now a massively overused term to describe anything from a Junior to midddle manager in any capacity and generally means a person toward the lower end in terms of mangerial authority as senior positions tend to use more specific descriptions of areas of authority.

A supervisor generally falls into the class of lower management, and manages a team of employees, while reporting to middle managers. Supervisors are tasked with managing the tasks of a project, while middle managers are tasked with managing larger projects, and creating goals and milestones. Executives drive an organization by setting its vision and mission statement, and being accountable to stockholders. They are tasked with deciding the overarching goals of the organization, and the budget that various departments will be allocated.
