Non-moral values is a belief that there are no absolutes of right and wrong based on certain situations/conditions.

Moral values is a belief that there is such a thing as right and wrong despite the situation, i.e. as in the 10 Commandments below.

The 10 Commandments are found in The Bible's Old Testament at Exodus, Chapter 20. They were given directly by God to the people of Israel at Mount Sinai after He had delivered them from slavery in Egypt:

"And God spoke all these words, saying: 'I am the LORD your God…

ONE: 'You shall have no other gods before Me.'

TWO: 'You shall not make for yourself a carved image--any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.'

THREE: 'You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain.'

FOUR: 'Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.'

FIVE: 'Honor your father and your mother.'

SIX: 'You shall not murder.'

SEVEN: 'You shall not commit adultery.'

EIGHT: 'You shall not steal.'

NINE: 'You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.'

TEN: 'You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor's.'

Hope this helps.

What are some disadvantages of a person who has moral values?

Having a moral compass is never a bad thing. Having moral values simply means that you understand the difference between right and wrong. The absence of such morals in a person over the age of five is known as sociopathy. A disadvantage of having moral values is the risk of missing out on things that might be illegal, such as underage drinking or gambling, that your moral values tell you are wrong, or being placed at a disadvantage by someone who is not restrained in that way.

What is the difference between morals and morality?

What is the difference between "morals" and "morality"? I think these are just two sides of the same moral phenomenon. Morals are the social side and morality is the individual side of the same. Morals mean for me the moral norms and moral principles of the common sense and/or accepted by the members of a social community. Morality means the personal moral values and principles which conduct really my behaviour.
