Ficem Board is a light weight fiber cement board which is immune to permanent moisture damage.
Marine Plywood
Many Australians grow up with the belief that Marine Plywood is a 'special' product made with secret adhesives that make it virtually indestructible. This is an urban myth.
The adhesive (glue) that is used to bond the veneers of Marine Plywood together is the same as any other structural plywood that is manufactured in Australia.
Marine Plywood is designed to absorb these forces due to the fact that this plywood is the closest to solid wood. In fact it is better than solid wood with defects having been graded out.
That is plywood that has layers bonded together with resin. Nine ply marine is bonded together and it may have an oak veneer like the seat board in a bow window.
what is the difference between being board "eligible" and board "certified" ?
Plywood is the best choice between these two. Particle board can swell if water gets to it. You would be better off if you use a tile backer board. Concrete based or a fiber type. They are made for this application.
bwp = boiling water proof bwr = boiling water resistant THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE !!!!!!!!!! Source: http://blog.positiveindians.in/plywood/bwp-vs-bwr-grade-plywood.html The acronym BWP stands for 'Boiling Water Proof', While BWR grade means 'Boiling Water Resistant' plywood. The general naming convention used in the industry is that BWR grading is used for marking plywood, while its counterpart BWP grade is used in the case of Blockboards. Technically speaking there is not much difference between these two terms. The quality tests on BWR grade plywood sheets, as well as BWP grade blockboards are quite similar. The glue used in the construction of both these types is synthetic plastic resin (phenol formaldehyde) which is considered better than Urea formaldehyde resins used in commercial MR grade (Moisture resistant) plywood sheets. If a board is marked with BWR it means that it is a waterproof exterior grade plywood, and if it is marked BWP then it should ideally mean that it is an exterior grade waterproof block board. Both BWP and BWR grades are widely used in the construction of furniture that is likely to get some exposure to water. Hence it is a preferred choice of material for making kitchen cabinets and other kitchen furniture. For quick difference between plywood and block board: Plywood -is thin sheets of veneer stuck together Blockboard - is blocks of solid softwood covered by sheets of veneer on both sides Or you can get it in detail at : http://blog.positiveindians.in/plywood/plywood-vs-blockboard.html
You couldn't tile directly over a plywood sub-floor because over time, the wood will be expanding. There are products you can use in between the plywood and tiles to keep them in place such as cement backer board.
i think it is the board
difference between electronic mail and bulletin board
The difference between a single board computer and microcontroller is that a single board lacks a general purpose interface and the mass storage devices.
There is no difference. It is simply a matter of mispronunciation of the correct name: Ouija.
ponka
Its newer
NO. It is a glued and compressed composition
