where, η - Apparent Viscosity

Apparent weight of an object is the weight of an object when the object is partially or totally immersed in a fluid{liquid/gas} normally apparent weight of an object is less than the real weight of an object due to an upward force {upthrust} which is produced by the pressure difference inside the fluids.
Apparent Weight is the weight of an Object in a SPECIFIC Gravitational condition, such as on Earth. The same object on the Moon would have a different (Lesser) Apparent Weight. The only constant is the Mass of the Object in both of those locations.
The apparent magnitude of yesterday's earthquake was 5.0, as evidenced by the damage to buildings.
its apparent depth is 1.5m.

Relative Viscosity often refers to that of a Polymer Solution and is defined as the ratio of the viscosity of the solution to the pure solvent. It is calculated experimentally by measuring the time that it takes for the pure solvent to pass through a certain tube, in certain conditions , and comparing it with the time it takes for the solution to pass through the same tube, in the same condition. The term Apparent Viscosity is used when you calculate the viscosity of a non-Newtonian fluid by applying equations that are derived for the viscosity of a Newtonian fluid. So it is not the actual viscosity. I hope this answers your question.
Drilling mud is a nonnewtonian fluid. It's a thixotropic fluid and it's apparent viscosity is a function of shear rate and time so at various shear rate and times you will have various viscosities. The molecular structure of these fluids breaks during tention. For further informations you can refer to rheology or fluid mechanics books.
Viscosity is the measure of the shear stress vs the shear strain of the fluid (in one tensorial direction). It is a derived property of fluids and cannot be directly linked to fluid parameters. There are typically two ways to measure fluid viscosity, test it in simple shear flow, and test it in elongation. Both tests will yield a fluids viscosity, although the results may be different. Definition- the state of being thick, sticky, and semifluid in consistency, due to internal friction. Let it be noted that 'viscosity' is only a term applied to newtonian fluids, because in fact some fluids do not have constant viscosity. This becomes very apparent when attempting to use the Navier Stokes equations on non-newtonian fluids. The 'viscous' closure term falls apart for these fluids. This is once again due to the fact that when you measure the 'viscosity' of a fluid, you are only measure one direction in the stress tensor, which for these fluids is not equal for all directions (seen in cases such as die swell). *See rheology for more information about this topic
== == Condensed milk behaves as non-Newtonian and pseudoplastic liquid . The removal of water causes the concentration of the solids to increase. Because of their relatively high concentration and frequent interactions, the casein micelles contribute largely to the viscosity as the distance between the caseinmicelles has decreased. The casein micelles are stabilized from aggregating by steric and electrostatic stabilization due to k-casein molecules situated on the surface of the micelles and these interactions become stronger. This leads to an increased apparent viscosity and the fluid starts to behave like a shear-thinning non-Newtonian fluid. (if you're happened to be doing FST 3103, please do not take this answer straight, thanks. i took this from A. O. Karlsson, R. Ipsen, K. Schrader and Y. Ardö, Relationship Between Physical Properties of Casein Micelles and Rheology of Skim Milk Concentrate, Journal of Dairy Science, 88:3784-3797, 2005)
Oobleck is a non-Newtonian fluid with shear thickening properties, meaning that when stressed is applied to it, its apparent viscosity increases. Basically, when someone hits it, it behaves more like a solid.
1.5x10e5 to about 5.0x10e5 cps, depending on where on the skin and whether you refer to apparent, evident, inherent or which viscosity exactly. Skin permeability changes. Permability across your palms is substantially lower than that across the back of your hands. Impossible really to answer.

The two types are apparent magnitude, the magnitude of a star as it appears to us, and absolute magnitude, which is what a star's apparent magnitude would be at a standard distance of ten parsecs.
