Curtain grouting is carried out to make the rock mass less permeable at a given line (or two or three parallel rows). Depth of grout curtain holes vary from a few meters to more than 150 m.

Consolidation grouting aims to improve rock mass (foundation) strength, permeability and reduce its deformability and executed in an area rather than a line. Usually, grout holes for consolidation grouting are less than 15 m deep.

How many hooks are generally needed to hold up a shower curtain?

So long as the curtain is up across a 1.5 metre bath (or a near to that length as makes no difference) then the number of hooks required is approximately 1 every 20 cm of curtain, which works out at somewhere between 10 and 14. The material of the curtain and its vertical length can also make a difference - longer drop leads to more hooks required (usually at a shorther interval apart).

Why does a curtain inside the house stick to the screen when the window is open?

When a window is open, air flows in and creates a slight suction effect inside the house. If a curtain is lightweight and close to the window, it can get sucked towards the screen because of this airflow. The curtain then gets trapped or sticks to the screen due to the pressure difference between inside and outside the house.
