what is the difference between councelling and support for learning problems
A learning problem is a general term used to describe any difficulty or challenge someone may have with learning. On the other hand, a learning disability is a specific neurological condition that affects a person's ability to receive, process, store, or respond to information. Learning disabilities are diagnosed when there is a significant difference between a person's intelligence and their academic performance.
Directive counseling involves the counselor giving advice, guidance, and direction to the client on how to solve their problems. Non-directive counseling, on the other hand, focuses on active listening, empathy, and reflecting back the client's own thoughts and feelings to help them come to their own solutions. Ultimately, the main difference lies in the level of involvement and direction from the counselor in the counseling process.
Counseling focuses on supporting individuals through personal or emotional challenges, providing guidance and advice to help them cope and make positive changes. Teaching, on the other hand, involves imparting knowledge or skills in a structured manner to help individuals learn and acquire new information or abilities. Essentially, counseling is more about listening, guiding, and supporting, while teaching is about instructing and facilitating learning.
Counseling skills are primarily communication skills. They focus on eliciting information and guiding, as opposed to flooding conversations with our own ideas and interests. They involve understanding and application of a variety of techniques and counseling theories. Counseling is bringing those skills to bear on specific problems, and helping people to work their way through them. Essentially the counselor guides the discussion to avoid dead-ends and encourage the client to approach problems in a productive, healthy way, using skills and techniques appropriate to the situation.
Implicit memory is unconscious memory, involving skills and routines, while explicit memory is conscious memory, involving facts and events. Implicit learning is learning without awareness of what is being learned, while explicit learning is intentional and conscious learning.
Support for learning problems can come from friends and family. Counseling for the same problem can come from someone certified to counsel.

I think the difference lies on who it is meant to be. For the counselling, it is for the counselor for when they do their job and for nursing then its for nurses when they do their duties.
