No, BUT the finish do not last as ling as chrome and they look like crap after a few years
We have polished nickel for our bathroom fixtures but were unable to find the same finish for the drain hardware in the tub and sink. We had to use chrome and although it is different, not as warm and rich as polished nickel, it looks just fine. I don't know that anyone would ever notice it but me.
Chrome that is very shiny and you can see clear reflections in it
Not well. Nickel has a different color than chrome. It is not a "true" silver. Also every manufacturer has a different shade of nickel so you can struggle to even match nickel between product lines. Stay with one or the other. Chrome is certainly less expensive and still looks great.
Satin nickel is a dull finish, wheras chrome is shiny. The other difference is satin nickel is grey and chrome is merely reflective and has no color
iGoogle is Google's customisable home page. Chrome is a Web browser.
all you have to do is use bam
No, polished brass is golden coloured. A deep golden if slightly tarnished, or almost white gold if well polished. While polished chrome is silver coloured, almost mirror-like.

The places to buy chrome bathroom lighting fixtures are many and varied. The best place to start would be Amazon. If you are on a tight budget, a good option to try would be eBay.
It's actually chrome but has a slightly dull appearance. -Very common on European plumbing fixtures, now catching on in north America.
