Birkenstock comes in mono coloured models - the biggest bulk of the models they offer run for many years, with some additional seasonal models. So most Birkenstock models you see will also be available many years from now.

Papillio (that also belongs to the Birkenstock family) are the colourful patterned models and the collection is renewed every 6 month. The Papillio footbed is slightly "deeper" then Birkenstocks and are made in the Birkenstock factories in Spain. All Birkenstock models are made in Germany.

What is the difference between Betula Birkenstock and other types of their sandals?

Birkenstocks are the original made with real leather uppers. Betula is an offshoot of Birkenstock started by Christian Birkenstock in 1994 and is a cost effective alternative to the original Birkenstock shoe. The quality of the Betula isn't as comparable to the Birkenstock, but if you want a low cost Birkie style shoe then maybe the Betula line is for you.
