A repeated measures design involves all participants being used for all possible setups. For example, if you were testing how different Music Genres effected performance on a spelling test, you would give each participant multiple spelling tests for each genre. Independent measures means that different participants are used for the different setups.
If something is size dependent then some important aspect of that thing is influenced strongly by its size. If something is size independent, then its size does not influence any important aspect.
The independent variable (such as time) is places on the x-axis of a graph. Always place the things that will never change on the x-axis. The dependent variable is then placed on the y-axis. The difference between the independent and dependent variable is that the independent variable in an experient does not change it is what stays constent, it is what is used to measure the dependent variable. On the other hand the dependent variable is what the experiment is testing for and what depends on the independent variable.
What is the difference between statistics and parameter
It depends on the relationship, if any, between the independent and dependent variables.
difference between Data Mining and OLAP
difference
What is the difference between dependant and independent events in terms of probability
What is the difference between an independent co-executor and a co-executor
There is no difference if other factors are held constant.
A function has no repeated x values
A function has no repeated x values
line that measures the slope between dependent and independent variables
Voltage measures electrical tension, Celsius measures temperature.
The cylinder measures volume, the balance measures weight.
Ostinato - a motif or phrase which is persistently repeated at the same pitch. Riff - a repeated chord progression.
scale measures force and/or mass; spoon measures volume
a ruler measures the distance and a protractor measures the angles
