In conventional academic writing and research, the difference between 'references' and 'acknowledgements' is a straightforward one. 'References' are notes (or, citations) made by the writer or writers when quoting other authors or when supplying additional information that supports (or otherwise expands on) something claimed in the text in question. They may appear at the bottom of the page or in a separate section at the end of the text. By contrast, 'acknowledgements' will appear at the front or end of the text as expressions of personal thanks from the authors to those who have provided helpful assistance in the writing of the text as a whole or in part.

Acknowledgements acknowledge individuals or organizations who contributed to the project or research, while a bibliography lists all the sources referenced or consulted in the research process. Acknowledgements are often more personal and informal, while a bibliography follows a specific citation style and format.

Acknowledgments generally refer to persons we have referred to whereas bibliography means the books or websites we have referred to. This both are little bit similar and therefore confusion among these both is a common thing. Acknowledgments are living whereas bibliography is not.

I hope by now the confusion is clear.

The acknowledgment page is where you write the name of the person or people or group who had helped (zero-cost) or you are indebted to in the completion of your thesis or dissertation.

The Dedication page (optional) is where you write the name of the person/people to whom you want to offer your thesis or dissertation.

What is the difference between the review of literature and bibliography?

When you do a review of literature, you read a lot of things... and you can put all of those things on a page to show what sort of background you had when you wrote something. When you do a Bibliography though, you only use those publications that you are actually citing in your work. If you make no reference to it, then it shouldn't be in the bibliography.
