Sports Car: pretty much a somewhat fast convertible and doesn't really matter what kind of car it is. It also doesn't have to be a convertible. Example: 1950s Corvette Convertible. Newer Mazdas etc.

Muscle Car: doesn't have to be older but it is. It's usually fast and from probably 1960s to present. Example: Chevy Chevelle or Dodge Charger(new ones as well).(Can sometimes be a truck, look at the early 2000 Ford Lighting.)

Super Car: usually a newer car sometimes can be older but we've gotten so much more advanced since then it's unbelievable. It's usually a car that costs more than $100K. Very Very Fast and get very bad gas mileage(Ex. 7mpg etc.) Usually has a V12 but can have a V8. Look at the Ford GT, 5.0L Supercharged V8 and that's beat V12 Lambos! Example: Mclaren F1, new Lamborghinis, Bugatti Veyron, New Ferrari, etc. You know, the stuff we all can't afford.

Hyper Car: I'm not really sure about this one but my guess would be that they are those cars that go out on the salt flats and break all those speed records. Something that goes 250+ mph. Sorry there's not that much detail with this one.

Hope This Helps!
