The difference b/w the prime generator & standby generator is that the prime generator is used for 24/7/365, while the standby generators are only used in emergency cases, if we used standby generators for more than 24 hours continuously, then it will be overheated for sure.
There is a substantial amount of misinformation concerning the function and proper use of prime. Prime is not glue-causing the base to adhere to the pavement is not its purpose. Prime's purpose is to protect the base from rain and light traffic, when the paving will be delayed.A prime coat is an application of an asphalt cutback or emulsified asphalt to a prepared base. The base can be either a sub grade or a base rock. Prime functions as a protector from rain for both types of bases. A primecoat should not be confused with a tack coat. Tack is an a adhesive for gluing two asphalt layers together.
Prime sealing coat shall be MC30 or MC70 complying with ASSHTO M82 or as directed by the Engineer and shall be applied to the prepared sub-base layer at a rate between 0.8 and 1.2kg/m2 and at a temperature between 60' C and 80' C. Tests shall be carried out on site to determine the rate of spread of the prime sealing coat material.
The algorithm is fairly straightforward. For any integer i greater than or equal to zero:i is non-prime if i is less than 2.otherwise, i is prime if i is 2.otherwise, i is non-prime if i is greater than 2 but is divisible by 2.otherwise, i is non-prime if it has any prime factors less than or equal to its square root.otherwise, i is prime.Step 4 is easier to implement by testing all odd divisors from 3 to the square root of i.
In theory when a PRIME contractor hires a SUBCONTRACTOR, and the SUBCONTRACTOR causes a loss, damage, injury, etc., then the SUBCONTRACTOR's insurance should pay the expenses related to that loss. If the PRIME contractor causes the loss, then the PRIME contractor's insurance will pay for the loss. If the SUBCONTRACTOR does not have insurance (lapsed, fake certificates, etc.), then the PRIME contractor's insurance will have to pay for the loss even when caused by the SUBCONTRACTOR. In the real world, all parties get sued after a damage or injury loss. Later they sort out which party or parties were at fault. Most Prime-Contracts now contain language that makes the PRIME CONTRACTOR indemnify and holdharmless the owner, meaning pay for their costs also. Likewise, most SUB-CONTRACTS now contain a language that makes the SUBCONTRACTOR indemnify and holdharmless the other parties. These are important and tricky legal concepts and should not be taken causually. Proffessional advice is always recommended. Some insurance companies will try to deny coverage if the PRIME contractor did not have an "indemnity/holdharmless" agreement in the sub-contract.
Depends on the Contract. Alot of subcontractor contracts prevent this. If the Prime contractor has received an estimate from a subcontractor and the subcontractor is working at the site or project under a estimate or purchase order then yes, the Prime contractor can be held liable for all monies under the contract if the subcontractor can prove that the employees were on their payroll and during this project the Prime contractor solicited Sub employees to become independent contractors.
They are synonymous. i.e., They mean the same thing. Prime Contractor = General Contractor. Some construction projects have multiple primes (multi-prime contract), where each prime is in charge of a general area of work and hires subcontractors underneath him, and one of the primes is typically delegated the owner's duty to coordinate. But the typical construction cite just has one prime.
A general contractor usually is responsible for the supplying of all material, labor, equipment, (engineering vehicles and tools) and services necessary for the construction of the project. To do this it is common for the general contractor to subcontract part of the work to other persons and companies that specialize in these types of work. These are called subcontractors. General contractors construct the project. Subcontractors supply the equipment/supplies. General contractors conducting work for government agencies are typically referred to as prime contractors. The responsibilities of a prime contractors working under a contract are essentially identical to those outlined above. In many cases, prime contractors will delegate portions of the contract work to subcontractors. ex. if i do home remodeling,baths, kitchens,windows but u also need a concrete patio and i dont do that, i would hire a person who does concrete.he is the subcontractor.
There is not "one" single answer - there are variations based on regulatory requirements and state and/or federal contract provisions. It is extremely important to check your prime contract to determine if the prime contract defines subcontractors, vendors, or both. The Government Contracts Reference Book (Nash, Schooner, O'Brien) provides the following definitions: SUBCONTRACTOR: Any person or organization that furnishes supplies or services under a prime contract. VENDOR: A seller of goods. Those definitions aren't necessarily helpful in determining status. I've shepherded numerous clients through numerous government audits, and here's my best advice: A vendor provides off-the-shelf, commercially-available goods or services. The vendor will provide these same goods or services to anyone who pays the vendor. A subcontractor is a person or organization who assists in the prime contractor in performing programmatic functions. The subcontractor is somewhat of a "partner" for the prime contractor and provides goods or services specifically tailored to meet the programmatic needs of the prime contract.
Multiples aren't prime.
2 and 3 are the first two prime numbers. The difference between them is 1
differences between equator and prime meridian
Prime Cost has two meanings in construction. 1) Prime cost is the sum of all of the specialist works and specialist materials from nominated sub-contractors (NSC) and suppliers on site. The main Contractor can place a % profit and attendance on NSC, this must be adjusted in the final account. This is a Prime Cost as referred to in the Bill of Quantities 2) Prime cost in regards to a contract is the sum of all the major works which the Main Contractor must produce under the contract. Maybe knowing this will help you see the difference? I have never heard the phrase "work cost" to compare with prime cost.
11 and 7 have a difference of 4.
All prime numbers are odd numbers, except for the number 2. The difference between two odd numbers must be a multiple of 2. So, if the difference between two prime numbers is another prime number, that difference must be 2.Examples:{3, 5}{5, 7}{11, 13}{29, 31}
Prime Meridien is also called Greenwich Meridien. They are not different.
