The Heckler & Koch MP5K, a shortened version of the venerable MP5 submachine gun, was first released in 1976.
K stands for Kompakt, which is German for Compact. MP5 Kompakt
The "k" in MP5k stands for Kurz, which in German means short. The MP5K has a shorter barrel.

First of all it is spelled : Heckler & Koch 800 rounds per minute for MP5, 700 for MP5SD and 900 for MP5k.

Development would probably have started sometime in the early 1970s. The MP5K-PDW, which added a lugged and threaded barrel and side-folding stock was later released in 1991.

preference. If you like the g36 style, go for the g608. If you like the mp5, go for the pdw. the FPS is better on the g36 though
on call of dutty 4&5 mp4 is a different class of the mp marksmen class then the different class of the mp5 .there for that's the difference...............................................................
