They are all made of willow, however there are different qualities. The lowest quality is Kashmir Willow, second is English Willow (nurtured outside of the UK), and the highest quality is English Willow. However there are also different grades of the willow used, Grade 1 is the best and Grade 3 is the worst although kasmir willow is sometimes called Grade 4.
Most bats are made of English willow, a very soft, fibrous wood. Lower end bats are often made from Kashmir willow wood. K-willow is cheap and tends to crack easily and is not the prefered wood to make bats.
Go for bats made with English Willow. Bats made with English Willow are durable and offer excellent rebound. If you have a lower budget you can go for bats made with Kashmir Willow which is harder and brittle to some extend. Also look for bats that are compressed curved and not the ones that are shaved to form the curve.
