Differentiate between a hypo- and a hyperreactor relative to the cold pressor test?

A cold pressor test is used to determine if there is a change is blood pressure when a subject is exposed to a cold stimulus. What does a cold pressor test measure?

A cold pressor test is used to measure pain tolerance and pain threshold. The subject places their hand in a container filled with ice water, and gets timed. When pain is felt, the time is recorded. The subject takes their hand out of the water when they cannot bear the pain any longer. This time is recorded. The pain threshold is the first time that is recorded, and the pain tolerance is the time when the hand is taken out of the water minus the pain threshold.

Will the Evaporator Pressor Regulating valve close if the Thermostatic Expansion Valve is in the evaporator air stream?

The EPR valve should work reguardless of if the TXV is in the air stream. The TXV in the airflow shouldn't make it act any different since it is sensing the temperature at the bulb instead of at the valve it's self.
