Hedley Fitton produced around 70 etchings between the years 1903 and 1929. These were issued in editions of between 100 and 250 copies.

Some of these etchings were later reproduced by a process known as taliochrome. these reproductions look quite similar to etchings but are nowhere near as fine. The reproductions of Hedley Fitton's works are not signed in pencil (as are the original etchings) but have a printed facsimile signature. They are usually given rather sentimental titles (unlike the originals), such as Ancient landmarks, Devotion, Morning etc.
