A double room has one double bed. A twin room has two twin beds.
A twin bedroom has two single beds, a double bedroom has a double bed!
A standard double room is for two occupants that will sleep in one bed. A deluxe twin room will sleep two adults in separate beds.
A single bed is just one single A twin bed is two singles in one room - so a twin room
Double room is a 2 room with different set-up in their furnitures unlike twin room is like a two room with the same room set-up.
single room, double room, suits room, twin room
A room for two can be called a twin room or a double room.
A twin is made for one person and a double is made for two. A double is the same as a full...just different name. A twin is also known as a single (twin=single, full=double). I think they should have just stuck with a single and double...much easier to keep straight. A twin is for one person, really? How confusing! As a side note, 2 Twin/Single XL's (4 inches longer) are equivalent to a King.
twin = two bi = two Answer: no difference
it means two double beds in one room. Enough for 4 people to share.
A twin bed is actually big enough for only one person--about 36" wide--and is sometimes called a single bed. The twin designation may be because there were often two in a bedroom. A double bed is big enough for two, about 54" wide, as I recall.
Twin X long bed is 5" longer.
