What is the difference between die and dice?

Die is the singular form whereas dice is plural. If I have 1 I have a die yet if I had more I would have some dice. Just like in mouse and mice or in man and men.

What is the difference between a number cube and a dice?

A die has dots to represent numbers and a number cube has actual numbers. Or, depending on what kind of number cube it is, it might just be the same thing.

What is the difference between a 1942d mercury dime and a 1942d 42 over 41 mercury dime?

The 42 over 41 is an error coin. A die hub prepared for 1941 was re-cut for use in 1942. The original "1" shows behind the "2" in the date.

What is the difference between birth rate and crude birth rate?

Crude birth rate is how many live children are born. Crude death rate is how many people die. Crude death minus crude birth is the net gain (or loss) and is called the birth rate. It represents whether or not deceased people are "replaced".

What is the difference between face value and death benefit?

Your death benefit will always be the amount paid to your beneficiaries should you die. Your Face value is almost always the same thing as your death benefit and certainly it is with term insurance. With Cash Value policies however, if you ever make a withdrawl or take a loan on your cash value, this will effect the face value should you die and not pay it back. So suppose you take out a $10K loan on a $100 K policy. Your death benefit is still $100K but your face value should you die is only going to be $90K
