A MD & MBBS degree are both degrees required by medical professionals. A MD is a Masters degree or postgraduate level that stands for Doctor of Medicine. It is a highly specialized degree where practical training is provided specifically in the area chosen. A MBBS is an undergraduate degree that stands for Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery. Once someone obtains a MBBS, they are eligible to practice as a doctor/physician. A MBBS is considered a much more general degree.
