Mobile testing is the process of testing mobile devices and their components, such as hardware, software, and networks. It is performed to ensure that the devices meet the required quality standards and are ready for release to the market.
Types of tests - Hardware testing, software testing, network testing
Examples of tests - Battery life testing, performance testing, security testing
Mobile application testing, on the other hand, is the process of testing mobile applications to ensure that they meet the functional and non-functional requirements of the users and the business. It is performed to identify and fix any bugs or defects in the applications before they are released to the public.
Types of tests - Functional testing, non-functional testing
Examples of tests - Installation testing, usability testing, performance testing
