Light means there are tiny air holes around the base of the filter. As you draw in smoke you also draw in air. It's suppose to mean you draw less smoke with each breath. It is possible that you will draw harder, suck deeper, and get almost as much nicotine in your system as a regular cigarette.
Light cigarettes tend to have less tar as well.
