AMM is a manual which deals with removal & installation of an aircraft component or LRU's. It does not give any information of O/H. This type of maintenance generally performed in line maintenance.

CMM is a manual which deals with O/H of an any aircraft component and generally IPC used to attached with it & this maintenance is also known as shop maintenance
