The EVO 2 has inner lining that extends all the way up to the toes, whereas the EVO 1 only has lining that stops half way up the foot. This makes the EVO2 a better shoe to wear when it is cold and it won't cause problems for your feet with rubbing the way that the EVO 1 will.
