The answer depends on which way you mean this question. If you mean the best place on your ear to get pierced, try this:

After that, cartilage piercings and more lobe piercings are fine.
If you plan on getting more lobe piercings after your first lobe piercing, try suggesting to the person doing the piercing, that you'd like hole a little more towards your face than the center of the lobe. By doing this, you enable more space for more piercings at a later time.
If you are choosing the best spot based off of pain level, a lobe piercing is the best option for the first go around. A cartilage piercing is more painful and very hard to keep up (i.e. cleaning).
