Modified will probably give the best accuracy with rifled slugs.
Yes. Rifled slugs are intended for smoothbore barrels (abot slugs aer for RIFLED barrels). Best accuracy with rifled slugs is USUALLY a modified choke, but can be safely fired thru any choke less than EXTRA full choke.
You can, but I wouldn't advise it.
Rifled slugs are actually INTENDED for smoothbore shotguns. Sabot slugs are intended for rifled shotguns. Performance will vary from gun to gun, but Modified choke seems to give the best accuracy with rifled slugs for many shotguns.
rifled choke tubes for sabot slugs and cylinder or improved cylinder choke tube for foster type slugs. you can shoot slugs with semi-auto. experiment to find what cycles the best without jamming.
Needs to be checked out by a good gunsmith
In general, rifled slugs are intended to go through a smooth bore. The twist rates of a rifled slug against a rifled barrel may not agree. If you were trying to get the best out of your rifled barrel I would think that going to a saboted slug would give better performance.
Slugs! If its rifled it is a deer hunting barrel.
yes you can shoot rifled slugs through smooth bore barell, or use rifled choke for sabots. the sa08 takes the same choke as mossberg...win, etc.
Some bolt action shotguns had an adjustable choke, and it is generally NOT recommended that slugs be fired through those. If there is no adjustable choke at the muzzle, your shotgun should be fine. Stay with rifled slugs.
no you cannot. sabot slugs are made for rifled barrels. I would buy a rifled slug barrel.
You need to call Browning.
