This should be a Nomad model made in 1962. Not a Buckmark although similar

Never made in Belguim
The Browning Buckmark is a very well made, durable, reliable handgun. I am personally partial to Rugers and Colts, but also like the Brownings.
50-200 USD depending on specifics
Weapons will exhibit a preference for one or more loads. The only way to find out is to shoot as many different types/loads as you can afford.
Browning.com has a function under customer service that will let you request/download a owner's manual
The Buckmark is a newer version of the same design. Challengers came in 3 models or versions (I, II, III), each being made after the former was discontinued. The Challenger III was very very close to the current Buckmark design, with the aluminum frame in common with the Buckmark. Challenger I and II both had steel frames.
Cheap and quality are a contradiction. My suggestion for a REASONABLY priced .22 pistol would be a Ruger Mk III. These are going for about $250 on sale. The Browning Buckmark is another good quality handgun for a reasonable price.
