The average weight for a 6 foot one male in the U.S.A. is 230 pounds but the healthy weight, would be around 175 pounds.

Healthy weight really depends on the age & body shape. When I say shape I'm not including round. Some people are more muscularly dense than others & a heavily muscled male with little body fat may be as much as 140kgs or 302lbs. I have known intense body builders as heavy as 132kgs or 290lbs at only 170cms or 5'7". I have known other 185cms or 6'1" as low as 64kgs or 140lbs.

Healthy weight is a misnomer if taken from the standard produced by the AMA. Their idea is based on the average male. Do you know any average males? Health should be taken on a case by case basis at all times.
