Where can I buy a magazine for a western field M149 bolt action
I think it may have been made by Mossberg or someone that made guns for Mossberg.I was at a gun show looking for parts for my Mossberg 20GA. model 185K and found a Hawthorne 20GA. model M149 It is the same gun, the end of the stock does not have the flare at the end under the barrel but all the parts will change from one gun to the other.
Its worth $50-100. I bought mine Coast to Coast in 1960.
No published sn data that I know of.

$100,000,000
I just paid $250.00 for one from a firearms shop in Albuquerque NM, (ron Andersons) that is very knowledgable in all things fdirearms-related. The shotgun is in excelland condition, with poly-choke, good bluing, and nice checkering on the slide-stock and grip areas. I feel that $250 was a good price, and will not hesitate to shop and but at Ron's again.
i have seen it between $100 to $ 175 also some place listed it for sale at $300 but i bought one at a gun show for about $90 in very good condition , hope that help the one I got was a M149 western Field with 2 +1 (In chamber ) 2 3/4 20 ga
