at 500 yards it still has the energy of a point blank from muzzle .45 acp. the supersonic speed of the bullet even at 500 yards will still priduce a, how do you say, sonic boom barrier wound cavity. temporary and permanent wound cavities. Very lethal. Dont ever point a gun at anything you do not intend to DESTROY.
