Nintendo called Redigit, the creator of SMBX, and told him to shut SMBX down. So he did. So, unless someone can find out how to use SMBX's codes and add new stuff without custom graphics, PLUS put a download link on the internet without Nintendo shutting it down, there will never be an SMBX v1.4.

Well, SMBX was shut down because apparently some guy april fooled Redigit (Andrew Spinks) and he thought it was nintendo. I bet that guy will never shut his big fat mouth.

The new super smash bros.? Well, people say the Megaman's spot was supposed to be Snake's, but I think it is because Nintendo finally figured out how Megaman is a classic, and should have been in smb long ago

You can set your own controls for the game. Just play the game (Not the Editor) and go to options. Then choose the controls for either P1 or P2. Select the current action and then choose the new button to replace it. (Ex, you can put go left from the Left Arrow to any key you want)
What is Super Mario Brothers. X?
Super Mario Bros. X is an online game that you can find on SuperMarioBrothersorg.. It is a game that has a premade episode "The Invasion 2". You can play with 2 players (which will be complete screen or split screen according to how close you are together) or you can try battle mode where you can harm each other with attacks. You can also make your own levels and worlds to go with them. I'm making one now in SMBX 1.3 - Bowser Supreme Revenge. It depends on which version you have that affects gameplay. It combines elements of Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 2, Super Mario Bros. 3 (mainly), Super Mario World, and some material out of the Zelda and Metroid series.
