Most likely beer is older than wine.

It is widely believed that cereal grains were the first food that inspired civilization. Unlike fruits and vegetables which have a shelf life of days to months, cereal grains can be stored indefinitely so long as they are kept dry. The only other cultivar that has such stability are beans which unlike grains must be dried before storage.

Early grains were probably eaten as a MASH or sort of gruel. The progression from this gruel to beer was likely the result of grains that had gotten wet and fermented into a weak form of beer. Originally it was considered that civilization was formed on bread, but given how much more involved it is to make bread than a simple beer this is unlikely. Many archeologists and historians now believe that it was beer that inspired grain cultivation, storage and consumption and bread came later.

The oldest alcoholic beverage is most likely mead which is made from honey and water which was certainly known to neolithic peoples.
