That said, balance is the key word. Eating the adequate number of calories, containing the correct percentages of nutrients over time ( use a day, a week, or a month as your guide and be consistent in that) allows one to enjoy all the bounty the earth offers and still *eat healthy*. What may make one days balance go wonky can be corrected over the next day or the week depending on how you eat the rest of the time. So there is no real set marker for *eating healthy* but you can choose how you set your personal balance and determine how you can stay within it without stressing too much about it every day. Meal planning using an understanding of balance over time so you can LIVE the plan without undue stress and with the fewest barriers to success is eating healthy.
