Fainting is a condition of temporal collapse(complete or partial loss of consciousness) as a result of insufficient supply of blood to the brain. It is usually less sever compared to shock.and in this case0 consciousness can be recovered after few seconds has elapsed.while shock is a condition of severe depression in the vital functions and or vital center of the medulla oblongata caused by loss of body fluids.
