In first class there are more comfortable seats, more leg room, and "better" free food. Alcoholic Beverages might also be free. Flying coach there is less space, more people around you and the only thing you're given to eat and drink for free are maybe a bag of peanuts and a coke. Some air carriers offer chips and Sandwiches for sale on longer flights.

On cross-Atlantic or Pacific flights first class seats can convert to flat beds to make it easier to sleep, and coach passengers are given meals for free.
