The Harrington & Richardson "Self Loading" semi-automatic pistol was in production from circa 1914 to 1924. Approximately 34,500 pistols were manufactured during that period. Your pistol with s/n 21835, assuming equal production rates per year during the era of production, probably dates from 1919-1920. It is what is known as the Second Variation (s/n range 2000 to 34,500+) and will have 16 slide serrations. Currently, in excellent 100% condition it is worth $495 and in fair (60%) condition it is worth $220. Values are approximate and RETAIL. If safe to shoot, it will handle modern .32ACP cartridges.
