I'm sorry I can't "answer" this, but I also would like to know the meaning. I looked up a number and it "is reported as a phone hobbyist". I have a feeling that's another word for someone doing telemarketing. Perhaps not... I have a business and because of the type of call couldn't understand exactly what they were asking, if they were selling or buying. It was a caller who needed help through a third party, (I'm sorry I don't know what the correct term is) who typed each response, there was lag time, other noise in the background, etc. I was afraid it was a legitimate customer and I came off as unhelpful.
