I guess it has alot to do with you're relationship with the person. These type of questions usually come up when you're with some one for some times, you feel as you are runing out of idea how to surprise him/her. Well here it is, take her/him for sky diving, hors back riding, mountain climing so you could have a nice lunch to- gather. Some times it's not important how much you spend on a person rather than how well you know the person. If your partner is a partier take her/him to vegas, atlantic city just a full day trip so you don't have to book a room either.
