The 52 is a pretty popular model and it's way up there on the collectors list of "must have" guns. I'd really love to have one in my collection so I kinda have a vested interest in this response. I've never seen one go for less than $500, and some with nice features go for $2000+. The 1930's era is a big plus but great condition doesn't tell me much. If it's been restored , it's worth $500. If it's all original and in very good condition, with no rust spots, original sights, original finish on the metal that's in good condition, with a good quality wood stock that has the original finish still on it, and with a bore that is in very good or better condition, you might get $1000+ for it right now. Keep in mind that everybody's broke and there's a whole lot of guns going for cheap right now. $1500 guns are going for $750 at auction, and not selling at all in fixed price listings. I'm sorry to tell you this but it's just not a good time to sell. Hang on to it if you can. I'd love to have one in my collection so if you think somebody's low-balling you and you're desperate for the $, drop me a line and maybe I can beat their offer. Marcucco@Yahoo.com
