There are two series of Burnside carbine serial numbers that contain that number. The earlier series covers Second, Third, Fourth and early Fifth model Burnsides. If the breech of your weapon is stamped with the March 25th 1856 patent date it was likely delivered in late 1863. If instead the breech is stamped "Model of 1864" (these are more commonly available) it is from the later Fifth model Burnsides and was likely delivered in 1865.

Note also that four or five thousand Fifth model Burnsides were rejected by government inspectors. So, presence of a government inspection cartouche on the left wrist of the stock, indicating acceptance, will also affect value.

Correction to the below: Your 11810 serial number would imply spring 1863 manufacture if marked on the breech with the "March 25, 1856" patent date and mid-1864 if marked "Model of 1864".
