However, if a person is a less than orthodox Muslim, such a person might feel free to make up his or her own mind about religious issues, and might possibly decide that it's fun to celebrate Christmas, so why not do it. Or perhaps a Muslim has some Christian friends and sees no reason not to join their social activities. Such people do exist.
You could invite your Muslim friends for Christmas, I don't see a problem in that. Just prepare something they could eat (Halal) and everything should be fine
