Motivation in the military is usually when those higher ranked then yourself, go above and beyond to motivate you to do better such things and group sports, extra training, get to geathers, or even just having everyone in the office have a meeting to tell them how good of a job that there doing can be considered Motivation in the military, another example is when a lower ranking individual goes above and beyond his normal duties that sometimes does motivate others to want to improve and do the best they can
